Lyric Studio by Kanguinn lets you design lyric cards and save them to a private library. Contact the operator at hello.kanguinn@gmail.com.
Information we use
If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information such as your email address, name, profile picture and account identifier through our authentication provider, Supabase. We use this to authenticate you and associate saved cards with your account. Google sign-in does not give the app access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts.
Your editor draft, settings and sign-in session are stored in your browser. When you choose Save card, your card text, design settings, preview image and any included photo are uploaded to Supabase. Local image exports are generated in your browser.
Song search
When you search for a song, the words you type are sent to Apple’s iTunes Search service to find titles, artists, albums and cover art, and cover images load from Apple’s servers. If Apple’s search is unavailable, the search may be sent to LRCLIB instead. When you pick a song, its title, artist, album and length are sent to LRCLIB to find the lyrics, and the artist’s name is sent through our Supabase helper to Deezer and Wikimedia Commons to suggest photos. Photos you choose are fetched through that helper so your card can be exported. We don’t store your searches.
Wikimedia Commons photos are shared by their photographers under free licences. When you use one, credit the photographer as shown under the photo strip.
Service providers and sharing
Cloudflare hosts the website and Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. These providers may process technical connection data such as IP addresses and request logs to operate and secure their services. Google handles Google sign-in. Some optional card fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts, which receives requests from your browser. These providers may process data outside your country.
Saved cards are intended to be accessible to the signed-in owner through the app, rather than publicly listed. The operator and service providers may have administrative access needed for operation and support. We do not sell your personal information or use your saved cards for advertising.
Retention and your choices
You can use the editor and export images without signing in. Signing out removes the app's local sign-in session; it does not delete saved cards. You can delete any saved card yourself from My cards. To request deletion of your account and cloud cards, email the address above from your registered email. We may ask you to verify ownership. Deleted data may remain in provider backups or security logs for their applicable retention periods.
You can remove locally stored drafts and sessions by clearing this site's browser data. Export any draft you want to keep first. You can also revoke the app's Google access in your Google Account settings.
Changes
We will update this page when our data practices change. Contact us with privacy questions or access, correction and deletion requests.
